ABUJA – The Democratic Alternative Party has nominated Prince Francis Ukonga as its presidential standard bearer ahead the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
Speaking at the national convention of the party on Saturday in Abuja, the chairman of the party, Prince Frank Ukonga, who was nominated as the party’s aspirant, said the party was ready to dance to the tune of the masses.
Ukonga said research had shown that over 65 percent of Nigerian youths were unemployed.
He promised that over 20 million jobs will be created if he emerges Nigeria’s President in 2019.
Ukonga stated that the party has a nine-point agenda, which includes creation of jobs, degeneration of electrical power, empowerment programmes, infrastructural facilities, free education at all levels, security of lives and property, transparency in all ways, among others.
The presidential hopeful assured party members that he would never let them down if elected, while urging them to obtain PVCs in order to cast their votes.
