Awka – Tony Chukwuelue, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for Anambra Central in 2019, has said that the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressive Congress (APC) messed up the senatorial chances of Anambra Central for three years due to legal war.
Chukwuelue said that any vote for the aforementioned political parties was tantamount to a reenactment of another legal battle.
The SDP candidate, who spoke to journalists in Awka on Thursday, said that Anambra Central was the only senatorial district in the entire country that lost three years in court.
He recalled that in the first year, the Federal Government budget six trillion naira, second year seven trillion naira while in the third year the budget was eight trillion naira, stressing that what it meant was that Anambra Central lost chunk of democracy dividends, infrastructure as a result of court litigations.
According to him, the same gladiators, who made the senatorial zone lost three years at the National Assembly, were coming back to contest, pointing out that they should be retired and sent to political exile because they had caused Anambra Central monumental damage .
Chukwuelue said: “Any right-thinking person from Anambra Central should not be thinking of voting PDP, APGA or APC, the only way to go is SDP, adding that he works as a consultant to senators and legislators and has comparative advantage over other candidates because of his proficiency to draft bills and motions.
