Nigeria have lifted the African cup of nation for the ninth time. This was following a tensed game in Ghana in the final against South Africa.
The Super Falcons played out a goalless draw against Banyana Banyana, after Asisat Oshoala had missed a penalty in the second half.
Linda Motlhalo missed her kick, which saw Chinaza Love Uchendu converts the penalty to see Nigeria successfully defend their title.
