At least 18 people died and 14 others are injured after a trailer hit a bus on a highway in Hunan province, central China, authorities confirmed today, according to Pleglish.com reports.
According to the police, the accident occurred specifically near the town of Hengyang and the preliminary results of an investigation indicate that the trailer presented problems before it hit the bus.
Images shown on television showed the traffic jam produced during several hours after the deadly incident. The investigation into the causes of the incident is still ongoing.
